SummerStart, the Inboard Hydroplane Nationals were held in Decatur, Ill. last weekend. In the 2.5 Litre Class, Grand Island's Greg Barker (owner) won first place with the Rewinder. It was driven by Mark Johnson of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.

Second place was won by Dan Kanfoush of Niagara Falls, with a boat named X-tra Stock.

In the Pro Stock Class, Chris Thompson of East Aurora took second place with his boat, Janets 2nd.

In the KRR Class, Bob Catapovic (owner) of Grand Island had a second place finish with Fission, driven by Mike Allen from Louisiana.
