Pinnacle Travel hosted its Pinnacle Island 2022 Golf Tourney benefit on Aug. 13, 2022 at Beaver Island Golf Course on Grand Island. A fundraiser to assist the Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island and other local groups, the golf outing saw 156 golfers form 38 teams participating. Additional Island benefactors from the event included the Grand Island Fire Co., Grand Island Police Department and Charles N. DeGlopper VFW Post 9249. “Half of our proceeds will be donated to the Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island. And rest will be divided between the other organizations,” said Pinnacle Travel rep Rick Schmitz. “Pinnacle Travel Staffing is a family owned company with family values. Instead of giving money to a large corporation, we would rather give back to Grand Island. As an Island company, we will always support our boys in blue, our volunteers at the GIFC, and all of the men and woman that served our great country with the VFW Post.” He noted the event that also saw corporate sponsorship by Fuccillo Automotive Group, Laurendi Howard Hanna and Say Cheese Pizza. “This tournament was the most organized/well-ran golf tournament/dinner people have been to,” Schmitz said, as he extended thanks to all who participated.Anchor Marine Sold to Local Investment Group - September 2022
