Students Compete For Scholarships

At GISBA Corporate Bowl

Student teams are currently forming to compete in this year’s GISBA Corporate Bowl.

In this academic challenge, teams of high school students compete for college scholarships by answering questions in subjects of English, Math, Science, History, Geography, Music, Art, Current Events, Sports, and Business. These scholarships, which are sponsored by contributions from area businesses, are awarded to the three winning teams.

The GISBA Board of Directors, along with corporate representatives from Fujisawa and Invitrogen, has been busy organizing, seeking sponsors, and promoting this year’s event. Donations will be recognized at the following levels:

• Platinum sponsors: $1,000 or more; includes full-page recognition of your company in the program.
• Gold sponsors: $500 to $999; includes a half-page recognition of your company in the program.
• Silver sponsors: $100 to $499; includes a quarter-page recognition of your company in the program.
