Robert E. Krueger, 82, retired owner of Chevrolet dealership

LEWISTON— Robert E. Krueger, retired owner of Bob Krueger Chevrolet, died unexpectedly in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, Lewiston, following a short illness. He was 82.

Born in Niagara Falls, Mr. Krueger graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1945.

In 1949, he graduated from General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich., with an associate’s degree in business management.

During World War II, Mr. Krueger enlisted in the Navy.

In the late 1960s, he and his brother co-owned Krueger Pontiac, a business his father started in 1927 in Niagara Falls.

In 1970, he opened Bob Krueger Chevrolet in Ransomville and operated it until he retired in 1999.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, the former Marlene Logan; one son, Douglas; and three daughters, Brenda, Sandra Rogers and Marcia Sidebottom.

Services will be held at 11 a. m. Wednesday in Hardison Funeral Home, North Fourth and Ridge streets, Lewiston.
