Roberto S. "Rob" DiGregorio II
Roberto S. “Rob” DiGregorio II, 39, of Grand Island, NY, left this world and all who loved him on September 13, 2008, and has joined his father, Robert, who predeceased him on March 18, 2000. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he moved to Las Vegas, NV with his family in 1976 and attended local schools, returning to Niagara Falls, NY in 1991. Rob was currently employed as a Sales Representative at Don Davis Pontiac-Honda-GMC in Amherst, NY, and had previously worked at Steve Baldo Ford in Niagara Falls, NY.Robert had a great zest for life and lived each day to the fullest. He always had a smile on his face. He left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him. Robert was an avid New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills’ fan. He also enjoyed golf. Robert was very involved in his daughter’s sports activities, volunteering as softball coach for her team. Survivors include his daughter, Angela, who was the greatest love in his life and every beat of his heart; his mother, Janet (Turco) DiGregorio of Grand Island, NY; three brothers, Joseph DiGregorio, Marc (Christine) DiGregorio, Anthony (Lani) DiGregorio, all of Las Vegas, NV; his maternal grandmother, Sara (late Anthony) Turco of Niagara Falls, NY; his paternal grandmother, Domenica (late Giovanni “John”) DiGregorio of Niagara Falls, NY; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends who will always hold a special place in their hearts for his gift of making each and every one of them feel special. He is also survived by his former wife, Michele DiGregorio. Friends may call on Tuesday from 3–8 PM at the M.J.COLUCCI and SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Wednesday, September 17th at 9:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Stewart Lindsay OSFS, officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
