Victor J. Gagliardi of Grand Island, an attorney with the Bouvier Partnership, died Monday at his office. He was 71.
Mr. Gagliardi was born in Buffalo and was a 1957 graduate of Hutchinson-Central Technical High School. He received a full scholarship to the Wharton School of Finance but was unable to attend because of family commitments. Mr. Gagliardi was a member of several committees of the Erie County Bar Association and was a judge at mock trials for UB Law School. In 2010, he was chosen one of the top 100 attorneys in Erie County. He also was a member of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Bernice Sahli; a son V. Brian; and a brother, Nick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a. m. Friday in St. Stephen Catholic Church, 2100 Baseline Road, Grand Island.
