Erie County sheriff's deputies arrested Betterson on charges of felony driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended registration and other vehicle and traffic violations after a stop on Love Road. The DWI count was raised to a felony because of a previous DWI conviction, deputies said.

He was held in the Erie County Holding Center without bail pending arraignment today in Grand Island Court.
