Brazilian Meat Loaf



1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup strong, cold coffee
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 onion, minced 1 tablespoon chopped celery
2 pounds lean beef, ground

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine egg, coffee, oregano, marjoram, salt, pepper and bread crumbs; let stand 10 minutes. Add onion, celery and beef; mix well. Pack into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
