Simply Cassoulet



2 1/2 pounds chicken thighs and/or drumsticks
1/2 cup green onion, diced
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cans kidney beans (16 oz each), drained
1/2 pound reduced-fat smoked sausage links, cut in 1/2" slices
1/3 cup dry white wine

1. In a slow cooker, combine chicken, onion, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Top with beans and sausage. Add wine. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
