Crescent Turkey Squares



2 cups turkey breast, cooked, cubed
1 package (3 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1 tablespoon margarine, melted
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tube (8 ounce size) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1/2 cup seasoned croutons, crushed

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In bowl, combine cream cheese and 2 tbsp. Softened butter. Stir until smooth. Add turkey, milk, onion, salt and black pepper.
2. Separate dough into equal rectangles, sealing perforations. Spoon 1/2 cup turkey mixture on one end of rectangle. Fold other end of dough over filling. Seal edges with fork.
3. Place on baking pan. Brush tops with melted butter. Sprinkle with crushed croutons. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
