Mom Mabel's Nuts & Bolts
4 cups Shreddies(Chex Cereal in the states) (or 8 cups if you do not use Crispix)
4 cups Crispix
8 cups Cheerios
1 bag (small) pretzels (I buy no-name for 99 cents for less)
4 cups mixed nuts
4 cups peanuts
2 tbsp. garlic salt or powder
3 tbsp. worchester sauce
1 lb. butter

Put all dry ingredients into a large roasting pan (I use the one that holds the big!!!!! turkey - oval shaped).

In a small sauce pan - melt butter, garlic salt/power & worchester sauce. (stir & dissolve well).

Pour melted mixture over dry ingredients - mix together with hands (don't be afraid to get all buttered up). Once you have mixed them well with the butter - place the pan on the lowest rack of the oven uncovered at 250 degrees. Cook for 1/2 hour take pan out mixed everything up again - I kind of do the shuffle by holding handles at both ends of the pan and flip it around. Place it back in the oven for another 1/2 hour; again do the shuffle - place it back in the oven for another 1/2 hour; again do the shuffle - turn oven down to 200 degrees place in the oven for another 1/2 hour. Take pan out of the oven and do the shuffle, let sit over night to cool then put in containers. Because of the butter it is suggested to keep it for about only a month or so.
