Monterey Cheese Fondue
1 clove Garlic -- halved
1 cup Monterey jack cheese -- shred
2 cups Dry white wine
1 tablespoon Dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
2 teaspoons Cornstarch
2 tablespoons Water
1 teaspoon Lemon juice
1 French bread loaf -- cubed

Rub bottom and sides of a heavy 3 quart saucepan with garlic; discard garlic add cheese, wine, mustard, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melts and mixture is blended. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir into cheese mixture; add lemon juice. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil 1 minute. Pour into fondue pot over low heat. Serve fondue recipe with bread cubes.
