Best Slow Cooker Goulash
2 tbsp olive oil
2 pounds stew meat or London broil cut into 1 1/2-2 inch pieces
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 tbsp Hungarian sweet paprika or regular paprika
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 14 ounce can beef broth
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup flour

Heat large pan over medium high heat, add olive oil and sear meat on all sides then remove. Place beef in a slow cooker and cover with onion.
2. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire, brown sugar, paprika, dry mustard and beef broth. Pour mixture over meat and cook on low heat for 10 hours. Mix flour and water together then pour over meat. Stir in, then increase heat to high during the last half hour. Serve over egg noodles or spaetzle.
Serves six.
