Chocolate Almond Silk Pudding



4 cups skim milk
1/2 cup almond liqueur
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Combine skim milk and almond liqueur in a large heavy saucepan; cook over medium heat until hot (do not boil).
2. Sift sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch together in a large heavy saucepan; add hot milk mixture, whisking until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Pour into custard cups or stemmed glasses; cover with wax paper, and chill.
