Asparagus with Creamy Lemon Sauce
3 tbsp light mayonnaise
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp minced fresh chives or green onion
1 lb asparagus, trimmed

In small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, 2 tsp water, lemon juice, chives and pinch each granulated sugar, salt and pepper; set aside.
2. Cover and steam asparagus on rack above 1 inch boiling water until tender-crisp, about 4 minutes. Drain and arrange on plate; drizzle with sauce.
Yield: 4-6 servings
