Shrimp Sliders With Wasabi-Lime Mayo



1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg
2 cloves garlic
2 green onions
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 lb frozen peeled raw shrimp, thawed
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
12 mini hamburger buns, (slider)

Wasabi-Lime Mayo:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp (grated lime zest
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp prepared wasabi
1/4 tsp pepper

1. In food processor, pulse together bread crumbs, egg, garlic, green onions, salt and pepper until onions are finely chopped. Add shrimp and continue to pulse until finely chopped. Scoop by scant 1/4 cup, pressing lightly to make 3/4-inch thick patties. (Make ahead: Layer between waxed paper in airtight container and refrigerate for up to 12 hours.)
2. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook patties, in batches and turning once, until golden and firm, about 4 minutes. Layer patty, cilantro and mayo on bun.

Wasabi -Lime Mayo: Mix mayonnaise, lime zest, lime juice, wasabi and pepper. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days.)
