Cold Strawberry Sauce
1 c Unsweetened strawberry puree
1/3 c Granulated sugar
1/4 c Water

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and cook for 1 minute. Chill.
Use this sauce for ice cream, plain custard, or yogurt, as well as pancakes, blintzes, and french toast. It will taste better if you make it when you have fresh berries and freeze it then if you try to make it later from frozen and thawed berries.
