Grilled Shrimp
with Cream Sauce
31-40 shelled and deveined raw shrimp, 31-40 ct
8 wooden skewers (12”long), soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
Cooking spray
Your favorite spice blend
Cream sauce, recipe below
Prepare grill for direct cooking.
Add shrimp to skewers, spray with cooking spray. Sprinkle with spice blend to taste.
Cook over high heat until pink and cooked through. Remove from grill and serve with cream sauce.
***Amount of shrimp per skewer is dependant on quantity of shrimp.
Cream Sauce
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened and divided
1 tablespoon minced or pressed fresh garlic
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh shallots
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon of your favorite spice blend
In small saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat, add garlic and shallots and cook until soft. Add whipping cream, reduce to simmer. Simmer 20 minutes or until sauce is reduced by half. Stir in spices. Remove from heat and add remaining 2 tablespoons butter, stir until smooth.
Serve warm with shrimp.
