Green Beans Basilico



1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups green beans, trimmed and cut in half

1. In a large skillet, sauté garlic, onion, and green pepper in margarine until soft. Stir in basil, oregano, and salt. Toss green beans with the vegetables until beans are bright green. Cover skillet and let vegetables cook for 1 minute. If green beans are crisp but tender, they are ready to be served; otherwise, cook them longer.
