Sunny Acres Corn Bread
3/4 cup yellow corn meal
1 1/3 cups flour
3 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon all spice
2 eggs beaten
1/4 lb. butter or margarine, melted
1/4 cup light cream
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1. Into large bowl, sift flour, meal, baking powder, salt, white sugar and allspice.
2. Add beaten eggs, melted butter, cream and brown sugar. Mix well.
3. Put into greased 8 by 8 inch pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 25-28 minutes.
Yield: 16 squares
