Golden Age Center Random Acts of Kindness - March 2025
Members of the Golden Age Center participated in Random Acts of Kindness last month, February 14-20. One of the busiest days in Town Hall is Wednesday with the mobile DMV unit, on one of those days a few members showed up to treat visitors with coffee and a smile. They called it "Random Acts of Caffeine" - cute spin right? Thank you ladies for such a nice unexpected act on a cold day.
By the way, did you know that membership to the Golden Age Center is free! Check out their website page, there are too many programs and activities to even begin to list here.
St. Stephen School Visits GAC - February 2025

A group of 7th and 8th grade students from St. Stephen School on Grand Island recently visited the Golden Age Center, bringing with them winter scarves made by the students. It was a surprise for the members of the Golden Age Center and and much appreciated by them. The school plans on making this a yearly project, with a different gift each year. Parents, the school and St. Stephen Church donate to the program.
