For the first time since 2000, the Lewiston-Porter boys cross country team knocked off Grand Island in Niagara Frontier League action. Despite GI’s Nick Pino (18:25) and Andrew Masiello finishing 1-2, the Lancers were able to win the meet on depth, 26-29, according to veteran coach Gary Raby. Greg Avila Shah was third and Connor Schul was fourth for the Lancers (4-3). GI finishes 4-3.
