Grand Island remained the only unbeaten team in the Niagara Frontier League, slipping past North Tonawanda, 7-6, to go 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the league. Joe Oliverio drove in three runs with a pair of hits for the Vikings while Matt Klock and Shaun Winter rapped out three hits each.
