Lake Shore 9 - Grand Island 8
Austin Crouse scored on an assist from Lou Celia in the second overtime as Lake Shore beat Grand Island, 9-8, in Class B. It was the first league win in the Eagles’ four-year history. Todd Bentley had six goals and Crouse added two goals with two assists.

Grand Island’s Jenna Raepple was a quadruple winner, capturing the 100, as well as the long and triple jumps. She also was on the Vikings’ (3-0) 400 relay with Jamie Raepple, Amber Duda and Mary Schiaravalle.

Mike Mucci, Haroon Kahawar and Korey DiMatteo earned singles victories as the Vikings moved to 6-2 in NFL play. In doubles, GI’s Darren Delsigore and Kearney Erhard and Seth Kline and Steve Boyle won their matches. East falls to 4-5.

Shaughn Irving had two goals in the loss for GI, which dropped to 4-5 overall and 2-4 in Class B. Andy Lalonde and Joe Fischer each scored one for the Vikings. Sweet Home’s Nick Cavalieri had a four-point day with three goals and an assist for the Panthers (5-2, 4-2).
