Cassie Oursler became the fifth player in Grand Island history to score 1,000 career points as the 6-fot-3 senior achieved the milestone in the fourth quarter on a layup during the Vikings' 56-49 win over Niagara Falls in the Niagara Frontier League. Oursler finished with 14 points and now has 1,005 in her career. "It's great that she got that. She's been working hard. She signed with Robert Morris earlier this year. That was a big milestone for her. She's accomplished two big things this year," coach Jenepher Banker said.
