2010 NFL Swimming and Diving Championships Results
Evan Carey (Grand Island) broke the GIHS School Record in the 200 IM. The previous record was set by Rob Rumsey's in 2001 with a time of 2:00.07.
Evan Carey NF pool records in 200 IM and 100 Freestyle
Evan also broke the NF pool record in the 200 IM with his swim Jan. 30.
GI Senior Adam Asbach set achieved personal bests in both the 200 and 500 Freestyle and qualified for the Section 6 Championships in what was potentially the final swims of his high school career.

Jonas Stalyga had 28 points — including six three-pointers — and 10 rebounds as Grand Island (7-5, 6-4) used a 22-13 third quarter to break away from Kenmore East, 72-46. Steve Vitello added 16 points and 10 rebounds, Kolby Banker had 12 points and eight assists and Bobby Ross had 10 points and five steals.
