Grand Island 47, Williamsville South 27: Joe Oliverio threw five touchdowns, four to Alex Nuetz, and Eddie Weiser ran for 245 yards and two scores on 31 carries as the Vikings racked up 546 total yards. Grand Island (4-1, 3-1), ranked seventh among large schools, took a 33-13 halftime lead before South (3-2, 2-2) scored the first two touchdowns of the third and pulled with 33-27. Oliverio (16 of 20, 263 yards) hit Nuetz (nine catches, 169 yards) and Lance Robinson (five catches, 72 yards) for third-quarter touchdows to push Grand Island ahead. South’s Joe Licata completed 17 of 30 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns, including two to Daeshaune Clark.
