Junior Vikings Spaghetti Dinner - October 2017
Grand Island Junior Vikings Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser will take place on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Riverstone Grill, 971 East River Road. Tickets are $8 presale, $10 at the door and include spaghetti and meatball dinner, garden salad, roll and butter. Curbside to-go service available by calling 775-9079 from 5-8 p.m. All proceeds will go to benefit new football and cheer uniforms. Flyer.
Grand Island Junior Viking Meat Raffle - July 2017
The GI Junior Viking Meat Raffle will take place at VFW Post #9249, 2121 Grand Island Blvd. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (BYOB). Tickets are $10.00 each and include a chance for a door prize. There will be eight rounds of meat raffle's and a bonus prize round. Also, a 50/50 raffle. All money raised will be used for supplying new equipment for football players and cheerleaders.Junior Viking 2015 Golf Tournament - August 2015

The Junior Vikings Organization is a non-profit youth football and cheerleading organization for children ages 6-13 years old [age as of July 31st]. This program is geared toward building confidence and interpersonal skills through youth sports. The Monday, Wednesday and Friday practice schedule accommodates those interested in playing Modified Football. A limited number of scholarships remain available for those who qualify. Registration for returning players and cheerleaders will be held Tuesday, May 22nd from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the NIKE base located at 3278 Whitehaven Road. New participant registration will be on Wednesday, May 30th from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the NIKE base. New participants are required to submit a copy of their birth certificate. Please bring TWO completed copies of registration form with you to registration, including all medical/shot info. See website for more information.

Grand Island Jr. Vikings cheerleaders were victorious in their quest to be the very best in the 2010 UB Spirit Challenge held October 24, 2010 at Alumni Arena. The Jr. Vikings cheerleaders all placed in their division. Results follow:Grand Island Jr. Vikings cheerleaders all placed in their division. Blue Squad (7 & 8 yr olds) placed 1st
Gold Squad (9 & 10 yr olds) placed 3rd
White Squad (11 to 14 yr olds) placed 1st
White Squad also won Grand Champions of the competition, beating 53 other teams. They have been invited to perform their winning routine at the November 12th UB Bulls football game at halftime. All three squads competed and placed in their division on Sunday, Oct. 31 at NCCC:
Blue squad – ages 7 & 8 - 2nd place
Gold Squad – ages 9 & 10 - 1st place
White squad - first place in their division as well as overall grand champions (out of 27 teams).
Coaches are: Traci Goc - White squad; Michelle Green - Gold squad; Christina Melligan - Blue squad.
