The Grand Island Post 1346 of the American Legion sends their thanks to all who supported the Mother's Day Hanging Basket Plant Sale. Your support allows the American Legion to continue work for veterans and the community.
The work on the DeGlopper Memorial Park Expansion is progressing slowly due to the lack of funding. The group was anticipating some funding from the Greenway Commission but was disappointed when they did not approve the grant. On to plan "B", the committee will continue to hold fund raisers to complete this worthy project to completion. The public is welcome to purchase a paver in memory of a Veteran here. The officers and members of the American Legion thanks all for their support!

Everyone is invited to participate by purchasing a paver. The paver can feature a family name, a memorial to anyone, not just veterans. Paver's are $175 and make a wonderful family legacy.
