Little League Food Drive - June 2014
The GI Little League will be conducting their annual food drive on Saturday, June 14th to benefit the GI Neighbors Foundation. They will be collecting non-perishable food items throughout the day at each diamond and at the concession stand.
Summer League Registration - May 2014
Grand Island Little League is opening registration for Summer League now and ends June 14th. Information/registration is on the Grand Island Little League website. Games will be played only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The league begins after the 4th of July and finishes in mid August. See website.
Breaking Game Day Status for Saturday, May 3rd - May 2014
All Baseball and Softball games for Saturday, May 3rd are cancelled due to the recent amount of rain we have received. All fields are saturated and ground crews are doing the best they can to get the fields ready under the circumstances. Please check the GILL Welcome Page for more updates on field conditions and games to come.
GI Little League Registration - January 2014
GILL Baseball and Softball In Person Registration is Saturday, January 25th at the GI Memorial Library from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
We encourage everyone to utilize our On line registration, which will begin on Wednesday, January 15th. It’s as simple as logging onto GrandIslandLL.com.
Go to www.grandislandll.com to sign up by March 1 to receive the early bird registration fee. Registration fees will increase after March 2nd. Registration deadline set at Saturday March 15th. Adult volunteers are always needed, so while filling out registration form, please look for the volunteer section, and fill out if interested. Baseball age groups start at 4 years of age (with league age as of April 30, 2014) and run thru 18 years of age. Softball age groups begin at 7 years of age (with league age as of December 31, 2013) and run thru 16 years of age. Please visit GrandIslandLL.com for upcoming news and updates.
