GI Recreation Department Fall - Winter Programs - October 2018
The Grand Island Recreation Department sponsors many activities over the Fall & Winter seasons. They include adult basketball and volleyball, Sunday family swim, inclusive open gym, art studio, winter break activities, and snow sculpture contest. They also sponsor, with the GI Chamber of Commerce, the "Light Up the Boulevard" Parade taking place on Saturday, December 1st. See flyer.GI Recreation Department Youth Art Studio - October 2018
Grand Island Recreation Department hosts Nike Art Studio, taking place at the Nike Base Activity Center during the Fall. Hours are: Middle School Studio - Tuesdays - 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. High School Studio - Thursdays - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Fridays 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.GI Recreation Department Summer Program Registration - June 2018
Online Registration is Here: The Grand Island Recreation Department is excited to have online registration for 2018. Residents can register at www.ginyrec.com - click on the registration link. Once you are directed to the online registration page you will need to create an account where you can add all members of the household, register and pay by credit card online. Please be sure to provide your email address and cell phone number to receive notices by email and text message.Registration opens Saturday, June 2 at 9:00 a.m. For anyone who cannot register online or who needs assistance, the Recreation Office will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2. The office will also be open from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, June 4 - Friday, June 8 If you have any questions call the Recreation Office at 773-9680 or email recreation@grand-island.ny.us.
