Grand Island's Relay For Life event was well attended on Friday, June 8, 2012. That certainly helped in bringing the total funds raised to over $148,000, so far this year. This years total is over $5,000 more than our biggest year in 2008. As this is the 10th year of Grand Island Relay, everyone was hoping to break the $1,000,000 mark. We not only made that goal, we are $92,000 above it with two and a half months left to add more money. Thanks to the 54 teams and 541 participants in making this the best Relay ever. Frank Brusino is the 2012 Honorary Survivor and Tricia Giambattista, the Honorary Caregiver. Co-Chairs of this year's event are Candy Mye, Becky Stufkosky and Lynn Dingey.
