U13 Soccer Team Wins Wilson Tournament - 2017
The Grand Island U13 boys tournament team from left to right:

The Grand Island Rush won the U13 Division at the 2017 Wilson Father's Day Classic. The team went 4-0 on the weekend outscoring their opponents 17-1. GI defeated the KenTon Blues 3-1 in the Championship Game. Six teams from the Grand Island Soccer Club competed in the tournament. The Polar Bears, Champions of the U12 boys division won their second tournament of the season while the U12 girls, U16 boys and U19 boys all finished as runners up in their respective groups.
