Heftka to coach D’Youville

Grand Island’s Chris Heftka will inherit a squad at his alma-mater that returns four starters after going 24-11 and qualifying for the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

Heftka was a three-time all-conference selection before graduating from D’Youville in 2007. He spent three season as an assistant coach, first with the women’s team, and then for the last two years, with the men.
