Vikings Dominate Clash With Medina, Wins 9-3
The Grand Island High School Lacrosse team beat the Medina Mustangs Wednesday, May 7, 2003 with a final score of 9-3. Leading the scoring was Mike Blocho (3 goals), Jeremy Roberts (2), Ted Rogers (2). The Varsity Vikings moved up to 7-3.

Grand Island's 4x200 relay team of Elly Henderson, Erica Burns, Kara Black, and Jenny Rogan was first in 1:46.7. Second was Lancaster (1:50.1), and third was Williamsville South (1:50.5).
Grand Island's 4x100 relay team of Becky Goelz, Erica Burns, Kara Black, Jenny Rogan placed 1st with 50.3 which was a meet record). Williamsville South (51.8) took second and Lancaster (52.4) was third.
Long/Triple jump relay winners were Lancaster 63-41/2; Grand Island 59-101/2; and North Tonawanda 55-11.
Pole vault relay winners were: First - Lancaster 18-0 (meet record) and Second - Grand Island 14-6; Amherst 13-6.
