Encouraging Message for GI Students - April 2020

Click photo for larger view.

St. Stephen School recently posted a special message for their students to encourage them during this distance learning time. It spells out We Miss You!. School Phys Ed teacher Karen Figler wrote, "I thought it might be a nice picture to encourage not just our students, but also other children in schools around the island and their families to stay positive. We wanted them to feel a little bit of the love that teachers have for their students during this challenging time."

Friday Fish Fry Dinner Update - March 2020

St. Stephen School Lenten Fish Fry Update - As of March 15, 2020:
In consideration of the press conferences of Sunday, March 15, 2020, from both the Erie County and New York State leadership related to the pandemic Coronavirus (COVID-19) and in communication with the leadership of St. Stephen School and St. Stephen Home School Association, we have decided to POSTPONE our Friday Lenten Fish Fry Dinners for March 20, 2020 until later notice.
We will decide each week as it comes whether to resume our Fish Fry Dinners based on current events/changing conditions – and whether to offer Fish Fry as Take-Out ONLY (possibly to include “curbside take-out”). Please stay tuned for future notices on the church website, the school website and Facebook page, the electronic sign in front of the school, the feather flag signs in front of church/school, and other communications.

We thank you for your continued support, we wish you continued good health, and remain committed to our community’s strong sense of fellowship.
