2006.

Grand Island Police Department officers to serve eviction notices on Grand
Island, subject to having two officers present when notice is served and to
amend the Fee Schedule to include a Service of Eviction Notice of $119 per
person served.

Highway
Superintendent Raymond Dlugokinski reported that he had opened the bids on
August 28, 2006 for a four-wheel drive loader.
One bid did not meet the specifications. Two bids were received from the following:
Five Star Equipment $109,934.00
Monroe Tractor
$93,972.00
After
careful review of the bids, Mr. Dlugokinski recommended the low bidder, Monroe
Tractor be awarded the bid for a four-wheel drive loader in the amount of
$93,972.00.

Mr. Dlugokinskis request for low bidder, Monroe Tractor to be awarded the bid
for a four-wheel loader in the amount of $93,972.00.

Engineer John Whitney reported that he opened bids on August 16, 2006 for a
medium duty dump truck. One bid was
received from Emerling Chevrolet in the amount of $67,531.00. The bid was well over the budgeted amount of
$42,000.

made by Councilman Roesch, seconded by Councilwoman Cooke to accept the
recommendation of the Town Engineer and reject all the bids for a medium duty
dump truck at this time.
