Our
3rd annual Grand Island “Communities That Care” blood drive is just around
the corner! In conjunction with the
Grand Island Fire Department, the American
Red Cross Blood Services is asking for your help to make this blood drive a
success. The
#1 reason that more people do not donate blood is that they have never been
asked. The blood supply in our
region is at a dangerously low level and we are looking for your leadership to
help alleviate this critical situation.
We
are asking you to spread the word at your company or throughout your
organization.
Tuesday, December 9th at the
Grand Island Fire Hall
2275 Baseline Rd 1pm-7pm
Your
organization’s participation would make a world of difference to hospital
patients in our area.
Plus, all
presenting donors will be put in drawings to be held throughout the day,
And receive a
free Red Cross holiday t-shirt!
Please
write the names of the people that agree to participate in this blood drive
opportunity and fax the list to the Buffalo Red Cross at (716) 878-2022, or
e-mail wengewicze@usa.redcross.org
your list of names by Monday, December 8th. Businesses sending in
appointments by December 8th will be recognized at the event.
Thank
you in advance for rising to the occasion and meeting this challenge. Please
feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Beth
