A Grand Island man has charged with choking his girlfriend and screaming at her outside a Carl Road residence at about midnight Sunday night, Erie County sheriff's officials said.
Deputy Jordan Grabar responded to a domestic disturbance and found that the suspect had left the residence. The deputy later located Garrat E. Olson, 32, who was charged with third-degree assault, reckless endangerment and menacing, according to police reports.
Olson was sent to the Erie County Holding Center without bail.
