Erie County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 54-year-old Grand Island man on a charge of driving while intoxicated after stopping him for traffic infractions on East River Road late Tuesday night.
Deputy Robert Kolmetz stopped Francis P. Fermoile, of East River Road, shortly after 11:20 p. m.
Fermoile refused to submit to a chemical test to determine his blood-alcohol level, sheriff’s officials said.
