BUFFALO, N.Y. Press release - All Post Offices will be open
Friday, July 3, but many will shorten retail lobby hours and close at noon.
Regular mail delivery for July 3 will be unaffected by the change.
With Independence Day falling on a Saturday, many businesses are closed or
closing early on Friday, July 3. The Postal Service is adjusting hours in
reaction to the slow postal traffic that precedes the holiday.
In the greater Buffalo/Niagara Falls area, all Post Offices will be closed at
noon on Friday, July 3 except for the Cayuga Branch Post Office (285 Cayuga
Road) and the Buffalo Main Office (1200 William Street). These offices will be
open to 5 p.m.
Customers can access many postal services and products at usps.com; postal
contract stations; grocery, convenient, and pharmacy stores; or at an
Automated Postal Center (APC), 24/7. APCs are located at the following Post
Offices:
Amherst Branch -5500 N Bailey Ave
Getzville Post Office – 2655 Millersport Hwy
Lockport Post Office – 138 East Ave
Orchard Park Post Office – 60 School St.
Cayuga Branch – 285 Cayuga Rd
Grand Island Post Office – 2391 Baseline Rd
Niagara Falls/LaSalle Station – 9860 Niagara Falls Blvd
