Town Clerk Patricia Frentzel announced that spring is a very
busy time in the Clerk’s office. Here
are a few reminders to make your visit to Town Hall easier.

Hours for the Town Clerk’s office are Monday through Friday:
8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m.
On Wednesdays, the office is open until 6:00p.m.
Summer Hours start July 1st. Monday through Friday 8:30a.m. – 4:30p.m.,
no evenings.
“Any resident who has a need for Town Clerk services can
always make an appointment with me outside of regular business hours,” stated
Patricia Frentzel.
A NEW service offered in the Town Clerk’s office is the
acceptance of passport applications.
Forms and information for passports are available at the Clerk’s office.
The DMV mobile unit continues in the lobby of Town Hall
every Wednesday from 10:00a.m. – 3:00p.m.
Licenses for fishing/hunting or your pet dog can be obtained
during regular business hours at the Town Clerk’s office.
If you’re getting married and need a license, call the Town
Clerk’s office to make sure you bring the proper documentation to obtain a
marriage license.
If your recycling bin needs replacing, or you need an
additional bin for recycling, they can be obtained from the Town Clerk’s office
for $7.00 a bin.
2006 Town and County tax collection will continue through
June 30th. No personal
checks will be accepted after June 15th. Cash or certified check only.
The Town Clerk serves as the secretary to the Board of
Ethics. The Board of Ethics consists of
five members with no more than two members affiliated with the same political
party. This Board reviews the annual statement of financial disclosure required
of all elected officials and department heads as well as the Chairpersons of
the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Planning Board. The Board of Ethics handles referrals from the Town Board,
complaints and inquires on any matter of ethics from any resident.
The Town Board has approved a “ETHICAL ISSUE INQUIRY” form
that is available to all residents to be used for filing a complaint dealing
with ethical issues. The form is
available in the Town Clerk’s Office as well as being able to be downloaded off
of the Grand Island Town website.
Save 39 cents and bring your water/sewer payment directly
into the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours.
Use the convenient drop box outside Town Hall to leave your
payment for water/sewer rents, taxes, dog license renewal, etc. Please keep in mind, all payments will be processed
the NEXT business day, don’t be LATE!
