Racing Toward a Cure to Hold Pancake Breakfast - 2008
Members of Relay for Life team, “Racing Toward a Cure,” will hold a pancake breakfast Sunday, April 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 1841 Whitehaven Road. Admission to this fundraiser to help ‘batter’ cancer is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for kids 12 and under, and free for little ones 3 and under. For more information, contact Liz Z. at 773-9600 x 658. The 2008 Relay for Life Team Racing Toward A Cure, formerly Team Lifesavers, has partnered with Jingle Hearts. The Jingle Heart necklace is a handcrafted sterling silver heart shaped necklace that brings a message to those who wear it. A gentle “jingle” of remembrance is a wonderful way to be reminded of those close to your heart. These necklaces have been worn in remembrance of our fallen soldiers, those who have lost their lives to cancer, and those who are still fighting this devastating disease. Jingle Hearts has generously offered to donate $20.00 of each $40.00 purchase to the American Cancer Society. 2:00 p.m. The "bootcamp" features one hour and a half of working out with Tricia, a basket raffle and door prize. Everyone is welcome!

Need some last minute gifts? Would you like to donate to a worthy cause?
You can do both of these if you visit the Kaegebein Relay For Life team jewelry table on December 12th (6:00 p.m.) at the High School. The Kaegebein team will be selling an assortment of bracelets and earrings made with Swarovski crystals and Czech beads during the Beginner Band, String and 6th Grade Band Concert. The proceeds will benefit The American Cancer Society.
