Attention Women: Women of the Word (WOW) is hosting its 19th annual Christmas Celebration on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 9:15 a.m. at Whitehaven Road Baptist Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. We will start the morning with a small group study bible study and then enjoy some great Christian fellowship over lunch. Childcare will be provided up to age 5. Please provide a bag lunch for your children. We invite all women to join us for a morning filled with fun, food, fellowship and friendship. Please RSVP ASAP to Carol Dusenbury at 773-4022.

WOW - Women Of The Word News - 2005
   Women of the Word, an interdenominational Bible study group sponsored by the Grand Island Ministerium, is in its 17th year. The group meets on Thursday mornings at Whitehaven Road Baptist Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road.
• 9-9:25 a.m. Coffee & Fellowship
• 9:30-10:30 a.m. Small Group Discussion
• 10:30-10:40 a.m. Break
• 10:40-11:25 a.m. Large Group Lecture
   Nursery Care is available.
   2004 - 2005 Bible study topics include the books of Job, I Samuel and II Samuel. WOW runs from September 9, 2004 through May 19, 2005.

WOW - Women Of The Word Announces Premier Celebration - 2006
Women of the Word Bible Study announces its Premier Celebration at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Whitehaven Road Baptist Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. This year’s interdenominational study includes the Old Testament books of Joshua, Judges, Jonah, Ruth, Esther, Daniel and a minor prophet. WOW - Women Of The Word To Host National Day Of Prayer - 2005
Women of the Word (WOW) will host the National Day of Prayer at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005 at Whitehaven Road Baptist Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road. National Day of Prayer, not to be confused with the World Day of Prayer held in March each year, is open to all.

WOW - Women Of The Word Begins 16th Season - 2003
Women of the Word, an interdenominational Bible study group sponsored by the Grand Island Ministerium, begins its 16th year September 11, 2003 at Whitehaven Road Baptist Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. Classes meet from 9:15-11:30 a.m. on Thursdays. This year the group will study the letters to the Hebrews, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians in the New Testament. Annual registration fee is $20. Free babysitting is provided for children under 3. For children ages 3 to 5, there is the Children of the Word program featuring songs, Bible stories and crafts. WOW - Women Of The Word's 15th Annual Christmas Celebration Luncheon
Women of the Word (WOW) will have its 15th annual Christmas Celebration Luncheon Thursday, December 12, 2002 in Whitehaven Road Baptist Church. Bible study at 9:15 a.m. will precede the luncheon. Reservations are being taken by Lori Boyko at 773-2595, Mona Steele at 774-8859, Marad Molnar at 773-4303 and Linda Gonzalez at 773-2251.

WOW - Women Of The Word 2002 Kick-off Meeting

Women of the Word, an interdenominational Bible study, will hold a kick-off meeting to launch a new study program, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Whitehaven Road Baptist Church, 1290 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island. The group, sponsored by the Grand Island Ministerium, will begin a study of the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Old Testament, on Sept. 19. It will continue from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings for 29 weeks. A $20 registration fee covers the cost of study materials.
